Weekly Vehicles Sales

Q1:  When can a vehicle be entered for the weekly sale?
A1:  Vehicles can be entered Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm.

Q2: What are the vehicle sales days?
A2: We have weekly sales of vehicles every Monday and Thursday at 6pm. To see when the next sale is, please visit our events page here.

Q3: What are the costs of entering a vehicle?
A3: No entry fees, but commissions and unsold handling charges may apply. For more information click here.

Q4: Where do I find a list of vehicles for sale?
A4: You can find a list of all vehicles for sale in our database here. To see all vehicles simply leave the fields for 'Car Make' and 'Car Model' blank and select the 'Sort By' to 'All', then press search. 

Q5: Where is the vehicle intake point?
A5: On sale days the vehicle intake point is at Thainstone Exchange building. If no one is available there, please visit TSA reception or Main Office based inside of Thainstone Centre main building.

Q6: Do we accept vehicles outwith working hours or on weekends?
A6: We do not accept vehicles outwith working hours or on the weekends. 

Thainstone Collective Sale of Plant Machinery and Equipment questions

Q1: When is the regular Thainstone Collective Sale of Plant Machinery and Equipment taking place?
A1: The Thainstone Collective Sale of Plant Machinery and Equipment is held 8 times a year, always on Saturdays at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie. The dates for the sale can be found in our 'Upcoming Events' page here.

Q2: When can I enter items for the Saturday's Thainstone Collective Sale of Plant Machinery and Equipment?
A2: All Goods accepted during the week of sale Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. 8.00am till 8.00pm

NOTE: Only tractors, mobile plant, light & heavy commercial vehicles and 4x4 entries accepted on Friday 9am-5pm.
No other goods accepted on Friday. Strictly no intake on Saturday. Sale will start at 9.00am

Q3: When can I collect purchased items?
A3: Following the sale, the collection can be made at the following times:

Monday to Wednesday 8.00am – 8.00pm
Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm
Thereafter by arrangement only by phoning 01467 623710 or 623770.

Q4: When can I collect unsold items?
A4: Following the sale, the collection can be made at the following times:

Monday to Wednesday 8.00am – 8.00pm
Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm
Thereafter by arrangement only by phoning 01467 623710 or 623770.

Q5: When can I come to view the available items at the Saturday's Thainstone Collective Sale of Plant, Machinery and Equipment?
A5Viewings of the available items onsite can be done on Friday 9am to 5pm and on the sale day from 8am. 
 
Q6: Where is the intake points for the Saturday's Thainstone Collective Sale of Plant, Machinery and Equipment?
A6: Various intake points depending on your items. 

Top Yard /Porter Cabin - intakes of small plant machinery and equipment; ground care equipment; heavy plant equipment including tractors, vans and 4x4s; HGVs and HGV trailers; builders equipment; implements;  trailers; caravans; livestock trailers and containers.

Thainstone Exchange - intakes of engineering workshop and horticultural equipment and hand tools

Q7: How do I register for the Saturday's Thainstone Collective Sale of Plant, Machinery and Equipment?
A7: Buyers should go to the main office in Thainstone Centre building and register on Friday or Saturday morning by completing a form.

Sellers are registered at the intake points.

Q8: Is there a catalogue listing for the Sale
A8: Yes, there are catalogues published on our website on the event's page, and there are printed copies at the Main Office in Thainstone Centre. 

Tha catalogue on the website is updated daily during the week of the sale. The final version of the catalogue is published on Friday, a day before the sale.
